Hi, I’m Usher. I originally came to SBACC as a kitten and was adopted during the pandemic. My new home had three senior cats and we all got along at first. I also had a human sister and we loved each other and spent lots of time together. When the pandemic ended and she went off to college I was very lonely and the senior cats didn’t want to play with me. I got a bit aggressive with them and as time went on I got even more aggressive. My Mom tried lots of different things to calm me down but they just didn’t work and finally, she decided she had to bring me back to SBACC. This made her very sad because she loved me but knew I just wasn’t in the right home any longer. I’m a big friendly boy who loves attention and people and once I get to know you I’m a lap cat. I’m hoping to find another home with someone who will have lots of time for me. I’d probably do best as an only cat. I had a urinary tract obstruction in the past and am on a special diet, but I don’t need any medications.
