Hi, I’m Piper. I was two months old and hiding in a car engine when I was rescued and brought to SBACC. I was very frightened because I hadn’t been around people before. I went to a foster home and joined some other orphaned kittens. I was afraid of them and my foster Mom for a couple of days but soon learned that they weren’t going to hurt me. I was still a little nervous around people when I came back to SBACC from my foster home but not anymore. I love to play and I am now a lap cat who enjoys petting and will even purr for you. I am very gentle and never bite or scratch. I have come a long way and was adopted by a senior lady who loved me but said I was just too much for her so she brought me back to SBACC. I need a forever home with someone who has the time and energy to play with me and who also wants a young cat who likes laps and wants to sleep with her person. I would be happy to share my home with another kitty because I get along just fine with other cats.
