Hi, I’m Oswald. I was rescued from the Rossmoor shopping center by a kind lady who saw me hanging around there day after day and looking skinnier each day. She brought me to SBACC and I was sent off to the vet. I was malnourished, very underweight, very anemic, had diarrhea, and was in terrible shape. I also was neutered and had a tipped ear but despite all this, I am a friendly guy who enjoys attention. Tests showed that I had mycoplasma and I was on meds for a long time. I gained weight and was doing pretty good but then a new problem was discovered. I had stomatitis, a nasty inflammation of my gums and mouth that is the result of an auto-immune reaction to my own teeth. So, I had all my teeth extracted and am now recovered from that. I’ve also recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I have really come a long way, my fur is so much softer and shinier now! I love to play with my toys and will get in your lap too! My wish is a nice, quiet home to spend the rest of my senior years with a kind person like the one who rescued me.
