HOWLLOO There! I’m Lexi, a petite, sleek Husky with very unique markings. A one-of-a-kind, one-in-a-million very exquisitely special girl waiting to meet you.
My journey to the SBACC was not easy. It all started when a nice young lady discovered me cowering under a car. I was anxious, and skittish, very fearful. It took some time, but she won me over and I crawled out for help. It looked like I was a recently nursing mama so the young lady tried everything to unite me with my family. When that didn’t work she delivered me to the SBACC safe and sound. For several days I continued to be scared, growling and barking endlessly. I continuously paced in my condo. The volunteers said I was worrying about my puppies like any loving mama would, but soon I began to calm down and my true dogness shined through.
Today I am living the 5 Paws life. Just look at me, I am quite the character with a personality to match, clucking and chattering to all who will listen. When you meet me, you will be surprised to see one of my many talents, that talent being ballet. You read that right. You will be amazed at my arabesques and pirouettes. Nothing compares. I can twirl with the best of them. Look out, Mikhail Baryshnikov, you’ve got competition. Us ballerinas are so funny.
Of course, there is more to me than just my dancing moves. I love my squeaky toys, the more the merrier, especially the ones with the high pitched squeakers. The volunteers always make sure I have plenty of toys to make me one happy Husky. Going on walks and field trips, spending time with the volunteers, being brushed and getting endless love completes my days. I love people and am showing interest in other dogs. Who knows maybe I would love a four legged friend. Time will tell.
Life is FAB at the shelter, but what I dream of most is a forever home with an active family who enjoys walks, car rides and plenty of adventures. Ballet is not necessary. We can choreograph our own moves.
So, if you are reading my bio, I hope you can find it in your heart to come and let me, Lexi, entertain you. Your moves and mine could be the perfect match for a life full of HOWLING good times and endless Husky love. Wags and Kisses to all. XO
