Hi, I’m Peppe. My brother, Peety, and I were just eight days old when we were rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to SBACC. We went to a foster home where we got lots of love and attention and were bottle-fed until we were big enough to eat on our own. I am an energetic grey and white boy with interesting markings on my back that resemble a cowhide. I guess that’s why my foster dad gave us the nickname Cowboys. Wherever we are in the house, if he yells Cowboys, we come running. Both my brother and I have been healthy little ones from the get-go We are smart too. We learned to use the cat box from the first time we were put in it and are very proud to say that we have never had an “accident”. We are affectionate kittens – just touch us and we purr. Sitting in your lap, wrapping around your neck, laying next to you in bed – we love it all as long as we are close to you. We are playful and love toys especially little mice. You may notice that this message about me includes my brother in almost every sentence. That’s because we were pretty close, growing up with just each other to play with. But since coming to the shelter and meeting many other kittens, we became more independent, and Peety was actually adopted already. That’s ok, I’m doing fine with my other kitten friends, my turn will come soon!
