Hi, I’m Monica. Our Mama, Margaret Mary, my four siblings and I were found on the front porch of a house when we were about five days old. We came to SBACC and then went to a foster home with our Mama who was so protective of us that she wouldn’t let our foster Mom near us. So we all returned to SBACC and our Mama nursed us in a special back room at the shelter. Once we were eating on our own we went to a new foster home and Mama stayed at the shelter to get ready for her forever home. We were all kind of scared of people and hid for a while but gradually started to trust our new foster Mom. Just call me “momma’s helper”, I love to monitor my foster Mom when she scoops the litter boxes. Every single day I run to ‘assist’ her in doing her chores. I also love to run and chase with my siblings and enjoy any toy that moves. I’m trying to get used to cuddling with my foster Mom and have come a long way since I was first here. I need to be in a forever home with one of my siblings or another kitten or young cat so I’ll always have a playmate and cuddle buddy.
