Hi, I’m Hans Blix. I was rescued from the street when I was about three weeks old and was in terrible shape, dirty, full of fleas, and with an awful respiratory infection and runny eyes. I arrived at SBACC late in the day and the medical supervisor took me home with her thinking she would find me a foster Mom in a day or two. That never happened and she became my foster Mom and nursed me back to health. She decided to adopt me but that didn’t work out because her schedule was too busy and I was home alone for too many hours and was very lonely. I really like attention and people and will probably follow you around. There was a dog in our home but she was a senior and didn’t want to play with me so I was very bored. I’m very smart, playful, and curious and my Mom thought I needed another young cat for a playmate so she decided to bring me back to SBACC to find a forever home where I would have another young, active cat for a playmate. Well, that didn’t work out. I didn’t make friends with any of the cats in my room at the shelter and I missed my Mom, she missed me and said the dog even seemed to miss me. So back home I went with my foster Mom who is definitely my forever Mom.
