Hi, I’m Buttercup. My four littermates and I were rescued from an overcrowded shelter when we were two weeks old. We came to SBACC and then went to a foster home where we were bottle-fed and given lots of TLC by our first foster mom. She taught us how to eat on our own and trained us to use the litter box. Once we were eating on our own we went to another foster home where played with each other and some other kittens. When we were tired we got to nap on our foster Mom’s lap getting pets and scratches in all the right places. We are very sweet, friendly, cuddly, playful, and gorgeous and we love attention. I am the biggest in the family but by no means the ‘ruler’ of the clan! I love to tussle with all my sibs and roommates and usually end up giving them a bath as we cuddle. I love to be held by my foster mom and will lay by her when we watch TV. I am a little independent when it comes to socializing with the other kitties but still enjoy their company come playtime. I’m a very sweet kitty and long for a forever home with a loving family. A playmate would be great too. You can see me having dinner with all my roomies in one of the pics.
