Hi, I’m Iris. If you’re looking for a friendly cat, I’m your girl. I was hiding in the bushes on Pacific Coast Highway crying for help when I was rescued and brought to SBACC. I was pregnant and needed a safe place to deliver my kittens. I went to a wonderful foster home and two weeks later I delivered six healthy kittens. I nursed them and raised them with the help of my foster Mom who says that I was an excellent Mama cat. You can see me with all of them in one photo. My foster Mom says I am a sweet kitty with lots of “Tortitude”. I can be a cuddler and a lap kitty, but if I get overstimulated I might nip so I need a family who is experienced with cats. I’m tolerant of my roommates as long as they don’t try to horn in on my people time, so I would probably prefer to be an only cat. All of my kittens have found their forever homes, and I am so ready to find mine!
