Hi, I’m India, Mama of the three I kittens. We came to SBACC from an overcrowded rescue when my kittens were just six days old. We then went to a foster home and I got to raise my kittens in comfort and safety with the help of a wonderful foster Mom. My foster Mom says I am petite, sleek, elegant and very sweet. I was very protective of my kittens but never hissed or swatted at my foster Mom when she had to pick them up to weigh them or check them out. I would go to my foster Mom for pets and love and sometimes, I would even sit on her lap or cuddle next to her. When I went to the vet to be spayed it was discovered that I am FIV+ probably due to the time I spent on the street. Don’t worry, it is strictly a feline condition and despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long healthy lives and since it’s not contagious, can live with non-FIV+ cats. I am now all ready for my forever home and hope I don’t have to wait too long.
