Hi! We are Comet and Cupid!
We came to SBACC after a very ruff day on 12/20/20. We were driven with 2 other housemates (Prancer & Little Angel) to the back of the shelter in the very early morning and our owner took us out of the car and drove away and left us. We have no idea why he would do that. We were so scared and confused that we all went running down the street. Thankfully, lots of nice humans and even a police officer were able to round 3 of us up and we were brought to the shelter. Sadly, 1 of our housemates (who we named Little Angel) was hit by a car and he’s not with us anymore. We were so scared and sad and didn’t really know what it was like to be touched and loved or walked on a leash so we were really shy.
We’ve come to LOVE the attention, petting and kisses we get every day! In fact, they say I, Comet, “smile” when I get excited and its just the cutest thing ever! Oh and I love my belly scratched! Our tails wag lots when we know we are going to get attention and we are getting so much better on a leash! Sometimes I, Cupid, lag behind and I convince the humans to give me a ride with just the look of my sweet eyes, they say I have them wrapped around their finger! I only have paws so not sure what that means but it seems to be a good thing for me!
They think we are brother and sister as we are both 3 years old. We just know that we are very bonded and must be adopted together so we can give a nice human lots of love and kisses! We might still be a bit shy when we meet new humans but we are learning to trust more each day. We’ve learned that we deserve to be loved and wanted, and we want to love on a family that wants it too! Could that be you?
