Bosco was picked up as a stray, so we do not have any real history on him. However, we do know that he absolutely adores children. He has opened up to everyone that he has met rather quickly, but with children it is instant. Bosco still needs to learn his manners, as he tends to jump up to say hello and lick your face.
It is clear that he was not socialized with other dogs as a pup, but he is currently living with another pup here named Honeydew. Bosco is already figuring out how to play with other dogs, and learning a lot from sweet Honeydew. He is a very intelligent boy, so a committed and consistent owner should have no trouble with training.
Cattle dogs are smart and energetic, requiring both exercise and mental stimulation daily. Bosco requires an active home, who will take him on daily walks at least morning and night. He loves being with his people, and tends to lay at your feet once he is done playing, just to be close to you.
We know this boy would really thrive in the right home. Could that home be with you? Are you willing to help a sweet boy get through his past and learn how to really be a dog? Please make an appointment to come down and meet Bosco!
