Hi, I’m Guava. I was about eight weeks old when I was rescued from the side of the 405 freeway. I was dirty, full of fleas, had a cloudy right eye, and couldn’t stand or walk. I was sent to the vet, and it turns out that I had growth plate fractures in both my front legs and soft tissue injuries to my back legs. It was thought that I was hit by a car or thrown from a moving car. I was put on cage rest so I could heal. That took about a month, and I’m finally able to stand and walk, but I’m told no rough playing for a bit longer. I’m a friendly, affectionate, and playful kitten, and I will purr as soon as you pet me. I can play with toys all by myself, but I also like the company of other kittens, so a forever home with another kitten would suit me just fine.
