Hi, I’m Toby. My sister, Tara, and I were rescued from an overcrowded shelter when we were seven weeks old. We came to SBACC and then went to a foster home for some socialization. In photos, I look all black but my belly is a very pretty smoky grey color. I have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which causes me to be a little wobbly and sometimes I fall over when I sit, run or walk. It’s not progressive so it won’t get any worse and sometimes it may get a tad better. I don’t let CH get in my way of being very playful and lovable. My foster mom says that I am a trooper. I am a bit shy and may hiss at first, but after I get to know you, I become a love bug and purr loudly. I’ll chase anything that moves. Due to CH, my forever home should be just one story because stairs would be hard for me to climb. I also do way better on carpet than on slippery wood or tile floors. A small cat tree would be good but I might fall off a really tall one. I love sitting in a lap and being snuggled and petted. I get along with other cats and had fun playing with the grown-up cats in my foster home. It would be great to go to my forever home with my sister or another kitten or cat but I would also be fine as an only kitten. I’m with my sister in two of the pics. If you want a kitten that won’t get into a lot of mischief, then I am the kitty for you! Come see me and you are sure to fall in love.
