Hi, I’m Holly. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when I was about 2-3 weeks old. I came to SBACC and then went to a foster home where I was bottle-fed until I was big enough to eat on my own. Here’s what my foster Mom has to say about me.
Being an only kitten with only two adult cats to play with, she is feisty, has lots of energy, and is very playful. She’s still learning to play nicely but may use her teeth when she plays. She’s very good about retracting her claws though, and will often put her paws on you or your face when she wants a little attention. Once Holly runs out of energy, she’s ready for a nice nap. She will come and find you looking for a nice place to cuddle up. She purrs and gives kisses when she’s happy. She is a good eater but likes her wet food better than the dry. She loves to sneak bites of the big kitty food. She is easy to pick up and carry, but if she’s in play mode, she won’t stay long put. She will find lots of things to play with, a piece of paper, a chopstick she snuck off the table, a slipper, a foot…oops. She still likes playing with feet and fingers. But her favorite game is pounce, so keep an eye on her. She likes to sneak up on you, but she will also just stare you down and wait for you to play with her so she can pounce on a toy. Holly is very loving. She will cuddle up with you and play with you once she knows you. Holly needs a little TLC to calm her feisty side, she’s gonna be lots of laughs and love for the right family. She would love to have another kitten or young cat as a playmate but if she is an only kitty she will need lots of attention and playtime with her family.
