Georgie Lives the Life

Hello SBACC,
I wanted to update you on George. I adopted him about six months ago and we are like two peas in a pod. He loves going hiking, kayaking, the beach and anything outdoors. He seems to love his new home and I couldn't have asked for a better dog!

Four of the five Seal Beach Animal Care Center Board of Director positions are up for election this July!

Qualifications include that each Director must:

• be a resident of the State of California;
• have been a member of the SBACC for at least 6 months prior to seeking election and at the close of ballot casting for the election of Directors;
• declare his or her intent to run for election between April 6 and June 5, 2012;
• be an active volunteer (minimum of 15 hours of service per month*) for 12 months prior to the election.

*The 15 hours of service do not have to be at the Care Center – they could include fundraising, fostering, helping the Care Center in any capacity.

Don't Forget to Renew Your SBACC Annual Membership!

Reminder – SBACC memberships need to be renewed every twelve months. In addition to receiving newsletters and other information in the mail, members receive voting privileges and can become involved with the Board of Directors.
