Ivan Gets a New Home and a New Sister!

We (Dean and Gail) adopted Ivan in January 2009. We adopted Freia one day later from another rescue.

While the first few days had numerous get acquainted moments with expressions on each of their faces that they wanted to be the only cat in the house, the relationship evolved to living happily ever after together.

Ivan is 8 years old but he acts like an 8 month old kitten. He zooms through the house in search of whatever adventure he can find. Freia is usually right behind him or flipping over on top of him. Ivan loves to sit in the window to watch the birds and the action on the street. Both cats nuzzle together and take care of each other. They have also accepted us as their family. As a result, they are constantly with us during the day and sleep with us at night.
